We have had 3 Yukons. First was a 2021, the a 2023 and now a 2025. Last two have the 3.0 Duramax diesel. All of them were Denalis. We love these vehicles and they have been very reliable. The new 2025 is a beautiful vehicle to drive and very quiet. We get 29 to 30 mpg with the diesel. You...
We have a 2025 Yukon Denali. This is a new feature for 2025 replacing the sensor that required your foot to activate under the rear bumper.
Took a while to get used to this new auto tailgate lift feature. It will only open if you stand behind the vehicle for a length of time. If you just walk...
I’m on my 2nd Yukon with the 3.0 diesel. Had a Yukon with 6.2 gas guzzler. You simply can’t beat the diesel for smooth performance, tons of pulling torque and excellent fuel economy in the 29 to 32 mpg range. My new 2025 Denali has the newer version of the 3.0 Duramax and it’s super quiet on...
The diesel has just as much torque as the 6.2 so no problem towing with it. I towed a car trailer with my car on it back and forth to Florida from Ontario. Engine had lots of power and still gave 18 mpg towing the car at 70 mph on expressways.
I have had both the 6.2 and the 3.0 diesel in a Yukon Denali. The 3.0 diesel is by far the best choice from my experience. 6.2 gives about 18 to 20 mpg while the diesel gives 27 to 30 mpg. The diesel is much smoother when accelerating and very quiet and responsive. The 6.2 has more passing...
I have a 2023 GMC Yukon Ulimate Denali diesel. I love the Duramax engine. Would take it over a 6.2 gas any day.
I also have noticed a rattle or rumble coming from the backside of the engine, possibly exhaust system when the engine is running around 1500 rpm and is put under load. For...
In my family we have had over a dozen Yukons over the last 10 years. All have been great. Currently have 4 Yukons with Duramax engines and every one of them has been near perfect. Maybe some people do have issues but our family certainly hasn’t. As far as we are concerned, they are fantastic...
The answer is no, that 3 litre diesel has amazing torque. Very hard to believe it’s only 3.0 litres in size. You can cruise at 80 mph and it doesn’t seem like it Is even working.
Absolutely, had the 6.2L gas in my last Yukon. Have the 3.0 Duramax in my 2023 and just love it! Lots of power and tons of torque. Very quiet and smooth. Any it gets 28 mpg. What’s not to love!
You have something wrong with your engine as this is not normal for this diesel. My son has one of the early 3.0L diesels with lots of miles on it and it's very quiet, clean burning and economical. My Yukon 3.0L gets an average of 8.5L/100KM and my son consistently gets around 9.0 L/100KM one...
I have a 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate with the Duramax diesel. Just love it. It replaced a 2022 Yukon Denali with the 6.2L. 6.2L was great but I like the diesel much better. Mileage is incredible at 27 MPG average so far. I expect it will get better once it's broken in. Drove it to Florida...
I have a 2023 Yukon Ultimate and like the seats. I’m 6’2 and they are plenty comfortable for me. They also have a massaging feature which is quite nice. Just drove 26 hours to Florida and it was comfortable all the way down. The 3.0L Duramax is amazing!
I received my White Frost tri coat Denali Ultimate with the 3.0L Duramax engine late in November. Ordered it when GM accepted the first orders. Just drove it to Florida from Oshawa ON. Averaged 27 mpg on I75 running an average of 75 mph. Same trip last year with my 2022 Yukon Denali with...
