    I was chasing it for the last 5 months. I even installed a new OEM 170 amp alternator from the newer trucks=). I rode around for like 2 months with no music because I got fed up with the whining noise.

    No. I literally juat bypassed it and im letting the pioneer deck run the speakers. There is a harness right behind the plastic divider u csn use. Itd hidden but u can grab it. Its literally the same plug as the one u r using now to run the amp. No hacking up wires or anything.

    Mine was doing the same. I bypassed the bose amp and whine is gone. Not sure if it's the bose amp but I couldn't stand it anymore.

    Through the hatch, inside the factory rubber grommet, down into the rear pass pillar and above the headliner on the passenger side. What a pain in the rear to remove and reset the factory rubber harness cover above the hatch area.

    I just finished the install. The camera has swivel adjustment on it. Im not sure if my hitch ever came in the picture as it was me adjusting and goinf up front to check. I had removed the wiper arm a while back. Ordered some rubber plugs for the 1 1/8 hole where the wiper motor was.

    170amp alternator swap just because the old one was starting to squeak. Had installed the 9/7 blade K5L fans last month as well. Grabbed an OEM ACD 84143540

    Did you stick with the original belt length?? Asking because I'm getting a terrible speaker whine through my rear pillar speakers. Have double checked my grounds and all look fine. The whine increases with RPMs so Im thinking it might be the Duralast alternator.

    My rear heater quick connectors were leaking so I went ahead and completed a backyard fix. Similar thing I did when my shorties were touching the aluminum heater line in the engine bay. Dorman 800-419 × 2 1/2 inch heater hose. Tubing cutter- i cut the rubber hose right next to the factory...

    Been busy with work and end of year. I picked up this 2008 LTZ two weeks ago with 115k miles. It's all stock with the exception of a Kenwood HU and new speakers all around. Keeping her stock. Will be replacing the work out shocks with new OEM pieces soon.it has the Z55 suspension on it.

    Recommendations for a good power steering pump

    The silverado 1500hd trucks with the 6.0 have a better pump since they came with 20s from the factory. I got me that new ACD unit on my 05 Tahoe. The suspension code is B4V option package. They came with bigger wheels and a better pump.

    I see what your issue is. There definitely is different part numbers for the Yukon XLs vs 05 My tahoe with the same darn smooth ride suspension. Typical GM nonsense. Disregard my post then.
