    I went all Moog in my front end. I found CarQuest was the best priced if you have one near by. They have a couple different price books, so see if you can somehow get a discount. I was able to say I was with the local tech college and got them for their price while paying with my debit card.

    Factory Installed Remote Locks

    Yeah, there is a site you can run the vin on to see the factory options. I then bought 2 remotes on ebay fro $35 and spent 2 minutes programming them.

    its a shame

    My brother rebuilt a Wrangler from a roll over and 1 year to the day of registering it the Jeep went up in flames (and the garage). The cause, faulty amp wiring. Worst part he had it professionally installed from a large national chain store. It happens, and sucks.

    96 ball joints

    I did my 95 (I assume it is the same). The upper and lower are the different designs, maybe thats what he meant. Also the factory ones are riveted in. My new ones came with bolts and nuts. They were not welded in, I wouldnt think anyone would weld them in.

    Rear Lift Gate 95 Yukon GT

    Mine is similar. If I hit the button on the dash it will click, but I go back and it is still shut. I can use the key fob and hit it and grab the glass right away and it opens. Its as if the release doesnt "pop" it open, but just slight enough that I can grab it right after the button is hit.

    Did I pay too much?

    I traded a 91 Wrangler straight up for mine. I had to do basically all front end parts (ball joints, tie rods...), started, radiator, battery and a tune up. It is a 95 with 107k on it. Last winter put some rust on the bottom so I will be fixing and them going to Herc the bottom black...
