It seems twisted The cable end does seem a little twisted sometimes but I can reach it with my fingertips to snap it back in but this usually is only good for the day.- Blackbeard718

Shifter cable disconnecting from trans bracket
Anyone have a permanent fix for this shifter linkage to the transmission gear selector constantly falling off. Fix attempts to date are; change out the nylon bushing, replace the gear selector with a genuine gm gear selector and new nylon bushing at the same time. Still have to crawl...- Blackbeard718

I took it to a mechanic and he is going to do the AFM DOD delete cam and lifters. I picked out the cam with a little extra umph to get the big ol gal moving a little better.- Blackbeard718

So I tried new plugs and wires and even a coil pack on cylinder 4, still pulling code and missing. Plus the motor has a new loud nock from that side. I don't get it, was strong until now. Mechanic said possible cam and lifters and delete the dod. Any advice? I literally just bought the denali...- Blackbeard718
