    Transmission Woes Continue!

Thank you sir. You have definitely given me a more definitive direction to look deeper into.

    Transmission Woes Continue!

If in fact one of the valves are stuck does that mean that the valve body would need to be replaced? Also I would assume that since this issue is so random that it would mean that the valve is not sticking all the time. Is that a correct assumption? Sometimes I can drive a hundred miles without...

    Transmission Woes Continue!

I bought a new female plug for the pass-through connector. I installed that new female plug and with it I tested both the a and b solenoid, the 3-2 downshift solenoid, the electronic pressure control solenoid, and the pulse width modulation solenoid for the proper ohms. They all gave the correct...

    Transmission Woes Continue!

When the issue occurs it loses first, second, and fourth. It will stay in third gear from a complete stop to as fast as I want to take it and never shift. Then the very next day it may very well run all day long without a single issue. When I pulled the pan the tranny fluid was clean and red...

    Transmission Woes Continue!

I did drop the pan and change the fluid and filter when I first replaced the B solenoid. The fluid was clean. There was no noticeable corrosion on the PCM harness when I checked.

    Transmission Woes Continue!

I suspected that the B solenoid could still be faulty so I did replace it but the problem still persists and I am still getting the same p0758 code intermittently.

One other thing also sometimes lose the second gear and just stays in third all the way from a dead stop to as fast as you want to take it.

    Transmission Woes Continue!

P0758 code. I've tested both the a and b solenoid for resistance and get around 23 ohms. I've also tested the 3-2 downshift solenoid, the EPC, and the PWM solenoid. They all check out good. I've checked the harness for continuity all the way from the PCM plug to the solenoids. I've also checked...

    Transmission Issues P0758!

Another question that you might be able to answer. Shouldn't there be a certain amount of resistance at the connectors that connect to the a and b solenoids? If so do you happen to know what the range of that resistance might be?

    Transmission Issues P0758!

Thanks for the info. Is there a way to test the TPS and the MAF sensor for proper functionality on the 6.0 vortec?

    Transmission Issues P0758!

Thanks for the reply. I changed the fluid and filter. The fluid was clean. No metal shavings in the pan. I tested the b solenoid for function and resistance and it checked out. I replaced it anyway thinking that since it was giving me that code I might as well. The problem still persists. I have...

    Transmission Issues P0758!

I know that this code has been discussed numerous times. I can't seem to find a definitive answer on what my next step should be. 2005 Yukon Denali with vortec 6.0 and 4L65E transmission. Sometimes I can drive over a hundred miles with no issues. Other times after driving 10 miles I'll get a CEL...

Power seat horizontal control not fully functional.

2005 Denali. The horizontal control on the driver side power seat switch is not fully functional. It will move the seat forward and back like it should. It will tilt the front of the seat up and down like it should. It will not tilt the rear of the seat up or down and it will not move the whole...
