I have both gmt800 and 900. I like them both. The 900 is higher and boxier for no practical gain. The 800 has totalled a Mercedes and was back rolling with 3 hrs of labor, so it will always have a special place in my heart.
I'm at 300k, but the previous owner did the software delete somewhere before 200k miles. I recently measured the lifter bores on the driver's side and the #7 is 0.845" so I'm driving it as is for now, but it's going to get an afm and vvt deleted motor that I'm going to build from a junkyard...
On my 2013, I replaced the z55 with the Arnott kit to standard shocks/springs. I do not like it. Over sprung and under rebound-damped in the rear. At the same time, I swapped the 20" stock wheels with 18" wheels and that didn't help much with the ride. Will be going back to the z55.
