Thanks for everyone's "concern." Haha. This was never intended to be a long-term mod. I understand it looks like crap, but it will survive a couple tanks of gas. Long enough to see if removing the oversize silencer and adding the aftermarket filter adds any noticeable HP, throttle response, or...- Badge0093

DIY Air Intake
Got to looking at the air silencer between the MAF and the intake manifold today. Realized it looked like an alien system and realized it had to be robbing HP and MPG. SEE PHOTOS! Without paying for the the K&N system, upwards of $300, I wanted some less restricted, less EPA governed air...- Badge0093
