When I had the service done on my 21, they told me absolutely do not do a flush on the 10 speed trans, the only time something like that need done is if the whole thing needs rebuilt.
So I have a 21 high country with the 6.2, I’ve asked and mine isn’t even on the recall list, so they must have different parameters for what’s being recalled.
I was worried about the both the 5.3 and 6.2, we bought a 21 high country with the 6.2 and it been such a good motor, I don’t think you can go wrong with the 6.2.
Stuck open injector, I’d bet if you pulled the plug and put a camera into the cylinder that the injector is just dumping fuel, smell your oil to make sure there is no gas in it from the fuel getting past the cylinder rings, good luck.
I mean I’ve got a 21 Tahoe high country with the 6.2, it’s got 61k on it and not one issue, the only thing that worries me is the weird shift points on the 10 speed tranny that’s in it, so far 6.2 is rock solid
