    Hmmm the 01-06 is also narrower right? So maybe it’s the geometry with the suspension and where the hub was placed. The two pics above look identical tho

    I know what gt5 means. What makes the 07 different from the 06? That’s all I wanna know. 07-08 don’t have 6l80. Newer body style. Idk if the housing itself changed and if it hasn’t I’d like to go buy it

    I did try and search first like 6 pages and came up empty. So I need a front diff for my 07. 07-08 have a specific gt5. They look remarkably similar to the 01-06 version. Can I use it? Found one locally and curious if it’s gonna work. If not what makes this one so specific?

    Two wires on the block in the front were definitely broken off and handle the grounds for the coils on both banks. The harness I have in the truck is for an 08-09 Tahoe/Yukon 4.8-5.3 flex or gas don’t matter. Once I replaced the new ring terminal engine ran just fine. FYI it’s not the ecm...

    Either way it’s fixed while I find the broken ground. Prolly broken at the block behind the PS pump.

    That 20 bucks is gas or some food. Inflation blows when my paycheck never inflated as much. I looked on eBay for some and it looks like all scams.

    If it’s the ecm then grounding myself wouldn’t fix it. It did so the ground wire is broken somewhere. Most likely where that ground stud is. I’ll check tomorrow

    Yup. I have tons of spares and I spliced one out and ground it to the firewall and boom idles smooth. Which was my whole huntch from the getgo.

    It was definitely ground. Jumped it out and grounded it. And still no one knows where the factory ground stud is for it? Which was my original question still not answered!
