Here's my dilemma. I will be purchasing and installing some Nitto Terra Grapplers soon. I already have the Reddy Lift 2.25/1.5 leveling kit on my truck. I don't really want to do some trimming, but will if it means getting the right look. For the look I want something wide that allows the tires to stick out from the fender a little for that rugged look, but also want it to help fill the wheel well gap. The wheel gap with the front tires in stock size just looks horrible. I have some info from www.1010tires.com to give as much info as possible. The sizes I'm considering are 295/50/20, 295/55/20, 305/50/20, and 305/55/20. The information below is a comparison of the 275/55/20 stock tires size. I will be keeping the stock 20s the truck came with. One last thing I'd like to mention is that, according to my Garmin GPS, when the speedometer reads 60 MPH the GPS reads 58 MPH. According to a document from GM Fleet directed to the police, the margin of error for the readout on the Tahoe speedometer is +/- 2 MPH, thus this seems to be acceptable. I also understand that the correct size tire could compensate for this.
