where to store: manual, DVD's, headphones, remote?

the glove box is ignorantly useless.
I just can't believe they actually build a vehicle with a glove box that is too small to hold the owners manual. we just leave ours in the garage.


where do you guys keep the OEM headphones & remote for the DVD player?
we have them in the bottom of the center console now, but they take up all the room.

where do you keep the DVDs? we bought a 12 pack holder from BBuy, and take them out of the case, and keep them in the case, but of course, it's too big for the glove box, and the door pockets are so shallow, it almost flops out.

the center console is annoying, because its full of junk (the headphones & remote)
we also have the organizer in it, so you have to take that out to get stuff out of the bottom.

and we have the TINY LTZ center console.


basically, its' claustrophobic with all this crap in there.
afraid to lay it in floor, kidz will step on it.

yeah, and there is a HUGE CAVERNOUS space where the jack is.

it looks like someone would build a kit to put a hinged door on that space, and then you could use it to store stuff.

a lot of the guys are buying spare battery boxes (like for a boat) and putting stuff in that box, in the spare battery tray under the hood.


it's amazing how useless the door pockets are.

I think the engineers who get to test drive these at GM, prolly only get to keep them a short time, or else they dont get the manuals, remote & head phones with them, because I cant see their wifes/family not complaining about how horrible it is to have that crap all over the place.
