Can't decide if I should do this or cut off the resonator and leave it with a tucked look

i got mine somewhat installed this weekend. it looks great and everything lined up. the only problem i found was the clamp doesnt get tight enough on the stock exhaust. not that its that big of a problem cause im going to have it welded on. just clamped till i can get to the exhaust shop.

Might be a stupid question but I'm assuming cutting off the resonator does not make any Check Engine light come on?

Nope. It only fits 5.3L vehicles that are 07+.

Anyone have an issue with having the exhaust making your bumpers black???

Just came back from a 700 mile round trip and the area just above where the exhaust tips come out is black...

My burb is white so it is really noticable...
