Recently my 2015 Chevy Tahoe would not start and had several service messages . The Service Side Section System has been coming on randomly for quite a while . Towed to dealership who cleared all codes it started right up was told it needs left and right side detection modules and rear bumper harness . Quoted at 2600.00 but the modules are unavailable. Called another dealership for another price and idea of when modules may be available and was advised to just unplug them and although I will still get the service message I should not have any further issues such as the not starting . Has anyone done this with a video or good description of how to unplug them . Has anyone had any further issues after unplugging ?
