I'm wanting to run 285/65/18 trail grapplers on my stock wheels of my z71 tahoe. I have a 2" leveling kit, is this possible? I know it will require some trimming, just how much? TIA

285 I beileve is a 33 inch tire give or take , with a leveling kit I …. Don't think you will have to do much trimming , I could be wrong hopefully someone chimes in to back me up but i think they will fit fine, back spacing is what screws everyone over but since your putting it on stock wheels i don't see a issue.

even so a 285/65 is like 32.5 inches…. I realize that not all tires are made the same but IMHO they won't vary THAT much , right?

Ive got 305/55/20's on stock rims and I had to do a little trimming for fully cranked wheel. Mostly plastic, but some metal (be sure you clean and primer exposed metal). I trimmed my wheel well liners a little, too.

Depends if you have the Z71. I had to trim ~2 inches off the front valence caps.
