Great job! What part did you use for the oil filter housing?

We have a 3.6 Pentastar minivan. I'm always careful not to overtighten the oil filter. But have thought about swapping it to the upgraded metal one just for piece of mind.

I'm just not too familiar with Mopar stuff. All of my other vehicles are GM full sized trucks and a van...
The OE style all plastic housing is what ends up leaking. The loosening and tightening of the access for the filter could contribute to the eventual leak but as I have been told and learned, all of the OE housings eventually leak. The all aluminum ones are the supposed fix. All you have to do is look straight down in to the valley at top of engine, under the housing and if you see a bath of oil, it is leaking. The place you first see oil on ground is where the oil bath sloshes out at back of engine, on to the transmission and then down.
