almost every time I pop the hood on my 96 2 door Tahoe and some car guys lookin around , they almost always say...whats That thing ??
that thing is one of the best little options for any 4x4 ............ a factory under hood work/trouble light.....................with 15 feet of retractable cord so you can reach anywhere on my 15 foot length truck

its hard to see but its mounted on the firewall on the left close to the antifreeze overflow jug.

theres a replaceable bulb in there...................might be an easy fix

Most 400s have the Bulb permanently attached to the hood , activated Via mini switch when the hood is opened

Great addition

I always put these under the hood in my vehicles and currently have an older version on hand. The light has a magnet that'll hold the light for ya!

I've swapped the bulb before. Think it just doesn't work. Need to use a multi meter to see if its getting power

I put one of those under the hood of my '77 :D love the addition. My '98 has a fixed under hood light but would like to add one of these lights as well

I put one in my hoe and switched out the light with a led and put a magnet on the back. That thing saved my ass many times :)
