I thought you had to get it reprogrammed too because the stock speedo goes to 100mph and the Escalade one goes up to 120. And I think it's required that you get the odometer matched to your mileage. This is what I recall but I could wrong. Anyways, it looks awesome!

I believe your right about the speedo and the mileage. I believe it needs to be calibrated to match the speed and is some kind of law with the mileage or else everyone would be selling their hoes/yuks/eskys with LOW mileage.

i think the gauge going up to 120 os the ecm portion, taken care of by a tune. the factory governor will limit the speed, cluster has nothing to do with it. i did my cluster some 8 years ago, slapped it right in and worked from day one. ii have tested it with a gps and its correct, aside from having 22's which changed my speed regardless of cluster. that has to do with tire height and number of revs.

as for the milage, thats another issue and should be addressed by a speedo shop. to each his own i always say

As far as the odometer goes, if you never sell the vehicle, no problem, but if you decide to sell it some car reports will indicate last recorded mileage by inspections, previous owners, etc.:Nonono: There is a federal law-
