So now I'm starting to think it wasn't my 26's that made my steering wheel shake. I have just put on brand new tires (goodyear SRAs) and balanced my 20s twice and the steering wheel still shakes. In the last 3 months I have also replaced the tie rods and rear shocks...Between this shake and the loose ass steering, and squeeks when I go over bumps, I'm becoming pretty annoyed with this truck.

I didn't do mine but I don't see why not. There are only 4 bolts.

Are they aftermarket wheels? See if there is a small security washer around the base of one of the stems. Aftermarket wheels typically don't drill out the back side to accommodate a security washer.
It happened to me and took me a while to figure it out. That could be the problem.
