I searched, and didn't really find much on the forum so I figured I'd ask anyway.

I'm getting ready to do a audio overhaul on my truck, and before I do I was considering putting some sound deadening in the cabin. Doors, floor, etc.

Question is: Is it worth it? Does it really make a big difference?

I know it will be a pain to do, but if it's worth it, then it's worth the pain.

I enjoy quiet time a lot.. and I love my music. Love to "Feel" my music. So I want to be able to do that in the best way possible.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Been reading that Peel and Seal is a great low cost alternative to dynamat.. Probably going to buy that, and do the doors, and everything.

Having used both peel and seal and dynamat as well as other brands. I can safely say it does not work as good. You have your use full coverage and even a second layer sometimes to equal the same deadening as actual deadening specific materials with only 50% coverage... After playing around and figuring that out I don't bother with peel and seal anymore.... I use raammat bxt now and am very happy with the results.

Also alpha damp has a 50% off sale going right now check it out.
