should an o2 sensor be rattling?

my passenger side o2 sensor is rattling. ive been getting a big vibration comming from under my truck so i looked around and when i grabbed the sensor body it seemed to stop, so i took it out and i can shake it and it will rattle on the inside. should they rattle like that? if not could that be faulty and possibly the cause of a p0420 low catalyst code?

O2 sensor shouldn't be rattling, replace it and you also will get rid of DTC's

Never seen a 02 sensor rattle before. Replace it and it could possibly repair your light

I noticed rattling after cold start which lasted ~2 minutes. Took the truck up and noticed that the left rear O2 sensor made that rattling sound. I replaced the left rear sensor, but after few days I started gettin P0420 - thought my cat was gone... Few days ago I replaced also the left front sensor and haven't got P0420 since...

I had the same issue and it annoyed me so I bought a new one.
