Seems like daily maintenance is basically a project on this truck, the oil drain plug must've been stripped by whatever fool changed the oil last, has anyone ever bought a replacement oil drain plug before?

Looking at this one and it says it'll work in my 02 Tahoe, but has a note up at the top. (Notes: M12-1.75 PILOT POINT, INSET GASKET SLIM FLANGE) not sure what it means but there is a review saying it fit an 06.
Has anyone used this one before?

Go to your local parts store and get the magnetic one for about the same price. And yes that is the correct size and thread pitch.

Sounds good! Thanks for reminding me about the magnetic tip, completely ignored that while for the replacement.
This truck pushes my buttons every time I try to work on it.
