Rear Diff R&P Carrier?

Ring went on 99 yukon 7 1/2 lift 4x4 4.56 35x12.5x20
pinion OK carrier was open one wheel peel.
I guess the SET UP was done wrong, Looking at markings it looks about 2yrs on work.
Opinion on R&P on richmond vs Midwest(motive) going to go limited slip:
Auburn vs Eaton

Richmond and Yukon make great gears...
Have you considered the Truetrac for the posi?

Yukon looks to have lower price. Is the Truetrac an Eaton product or Detroit?

i have yukon gears in the rear of my hoe, no problems with the gears just the shop that installed it. be on my 3rd set of them trying to get it right sometime soon.

I run yukons and a truetrac in my tahoe, just ordeerd the same thing for my suburban. I am very pleased so far and it's been a few years.

Didnt know enough about the Yukon Gears.. I ordered the auburn gear542052 and Richmond R&P Hope it comes in by March 1st..Need to get YUKON on road WEDS..

Even though you've already pulled the trigger on your purchase...
  • Yukon makes top notch equipment (gears and axles).
  • The Truetrac is a great product that doesn't require any special additives, nor does it have any clutches or cones to go out or not engage.

I am getting together tomorrow, Hope it all goes well. ( So far whoever setup the pinion was missing a sleeve )Wish I had the input on the trutrac before I went with auburn...Bro n law had very good results with aubrurn gears in past.
