I'm looking at GPS Nav head units, specifically the Kenwood DNXxx series. I see that the iDatalink Maestro interfaces are only available to retain steering wheel controls.

Some of you with later models seem to be able to use that interface to display gauges on the screen. But it appears that functionality is not available on the GMT800s.

Anyone had success doing this on an NBS? If so, I'd love some details. Otherwise I'll stick with the PAC RP5-GM11 that I'm currently using with a single-DIN Kenwood.

If it's an Android unit, are they using a wireless obd2 adapter and basic software that way maybe.

I asked iDatalink directly, and the answer is NO.

"Hello Steve,

Unfortunately, the only support we can have for the Chevrolet 2004 Tahoe is for steering wheel controls with the Maestro SW, part # ADS-MSW."
