Installed a strip along the windshield, and blue led strips in the footwell, also threw in some white license plate lights...The blue leds weren't quite as bright as I had hoped, so I was contemplating swapping them out for brighter strips. Both the windshield and the footwell come on with the courtesy lighting

How did you wire it up to come on with the other lights

For the windshield I pulled the overhead panel and tapped the dome light and for the footwells I tapped into the courtesy wire in a harness

I added some small UV (is it really UV light if I can see it?) pods at the top of the map pockets. One on each side of the console. But, I wired them into the console light, they are only on when I want them on, when the console lid is opened. If I need them on, I just crack the lid a tad. I probably would have used red but, hey, I had the UV ones.
