My oil pressure gauge died the other day. Now just not moving at all. What's the most common fault, gauge itself or sender? Where's the sender located? '04 Tahoe 5.3 4WD.. :)

I'm presuming sender is more commonly at fault. Someone else will know better I think.

My sender is currently leaking oil I think from the o-ring seal. Hardly any oil, just enough to keep everything nice and oily..

It's located at the back of the block near the top. More or less under windshield cowling.

Require sensor socket with notch to allow wires or be in place at the same time the socket is on there.

Local part source here in Ontario loan a socket.
