I'm looking to see if anyone has a schematic of the OEM security system.
I'm looking to add a blinking LED to indicate that the security system is active as the OEM system give no indication aside from sounding the small "horn" mounted in the grill when it's active.
I need to find a point that has +12v constant when it's armed.
Thanx.

you should have a security light on the dash cluster.

There is, and it does work.
I'm lookin' to add something that'll let those who go near my truck that it's alarmed. The dash security light pretty much just lets me know.
Guess I'll head to my local auto parts store and , uh... borrrow that page ;)

Ok, I find this hard to believe, as the trucks alarm, when armed, will not allow it to be started. Which in fact means that the alarm has a starter shutoff, which takes a constant voltage to activate a relay to open the circuit.
I'll acquire a schematic myself.... thanx for all the help.
