Hi All,
I just bought a 2004 Tahoe last week, 5.3 168,000 miles, and in excellent condition inside & out. Not bad for an upstate NY vehicle. As expected, I'm ironing out a few problems. I joined another Tahoe forum but have not gotten any replies, so I hopped on over here.
I'm a semi retired building contractor, no more crews and/or homebuilding. I built myself (with my wife's help) a 32' x 56' barn a few years ago to concentrate on my wooden boat restoration projects (Lightning Sailboats & a 1948 Century Seamaid) Cabinet shop is still up and running too.
Another project in the barn is our 1953 GM PD 4104...former Greyhound bus, converted to a motorhome by a PO several years back. 6-71 Detroit Diesel, 4 speed Spicer, Jake brake, air brakes, no power steering. Always a hit at old car night. Oh yeah...couple old Harley Shovelheads too.
