SnowFish
TYF Newbie
Here's my brand new, to me, 2009 Yukon.
I know, dark garage shots are not the best. Will try for better one's later.
How you see it, is how I bought it. 130,000 miles so I changed all fluids, added new rotors & brakes, new battery, 8 new tires, these 22's plus stock rims with snows, front wheel bearing, a couple transmission seals, and picked up a Range AFM Disabler. Forgot to flush the brake fluid, but that will be coming very shortly. Contemplating new shocks & struts. Seems to ride & tow good now. Perhaps I'll wait.
Everything is perfect except I get a lift gate open message when using automatic mode. No message if closed manually. I hope to get some help with the remedy here. If not, closing manually will have to do.
My Wife & I love to fish, ride our Fat Tire Bikes, play with our dogs Lindy & Avalanche, and visit the GrandKids when we can.
My other fun is Geo Metros
Yes, I take it to the track once in a while. More fun driving a slow car fast, than a fast car slow. LOL!
And snowmobiling is the best!
Thus, I need this Yukon, politely named Cornelius, to tow my boats, snowmobiles, and anything else that wants to tag along.
Looking forward getting to know everyone. And hopefully learn a couple tricks along the way.
All the best from Brainerd Minnesota.
