I was driving through town when I saw a signed advertising used wheels and tires. I stopped by and found a set of 17 inch '02 GMC Z-71 wheels for $240.00

When I save up enough cash for tires, I can finally get rid on the hideous rims that were on my Tahoe when I bought her.

Yeah they're in good shape. I wonder what size tire would look good with them considering my Hoe is stock height? My stocks are 16 inch and I'm currently running 265/75/16.

Thats funny you said that. I removed the badge on the tailgate today. What a pain in the ass that was, that adhesive is no joke, lol.

Any idea what size tire would fit these 17 inch Z-71 wheels without a lift on my stock height Tahoe? The tire on my current wheels 265/75/16 and I figured I'd just go up one size but I can't find a 265/75/17.

Any suggestions???

The equivalent for 265/75/16 is a 265/70/17.... But I would go with a 285/70/17 which is what I plan on doing when I can..... I have a set of rims off of an '07 Tahoe that are 17's w/ 265/70/17's.... Looks good but would have rather had those wheels you just got.... I have this thing GMC truck GMC wheels, Chevy truck .... chevy wheels, but I couldn't pass up my deal, picked mine up from a guy I work with tires & wheels $300, tread is about 70-75%.....

Can't wait to see them on with tires...
