Picked up these wheels today, $180 for all 4.

Scrubbed them with a brillo pad and carb'd the wheels.

Then busted out the low gloss black paint....

Here they are OEM status:

Looks good man. Came out really nice. Just a heads up, I personally have painted many sets of wheels, and wanted to let you know that you should expect to touch up the bead of the wheels after the tires are mounted. I've never been able to get a shop to mount the tires without scratching some of the paint around the bead. Tell the shop that they are painted and to please not throw them around the machinery, but don't be upset if some of it comes off where they have to use the tire mounting tools.

Wheels below in my sig are painted satin black.

Does your paint scratch from just regular driving on them? If so, how often?

No, not really. I use the outdoor furniture Rustoleum paint. It's made to stand up to harsh conditions. I scrub them with a brush when I wash them too. No worries. A big key is proper prep.

thanks for the comments everyone, I mounted it myself, but I always expect to touch up the lip area. I put some Grizzly MT tires on it ( $500 for the set new) and it now looks pretty aggressive. I will post pics up in a bit when I get chance, so stay tuned!
