-So, I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe z71, it has the dual climate control. For the last couple of months I have been having issues with my heat and A/C.
-When I would turn on my A/C, sometimes it would only shoot through the defrosting vents even though it was set on to blow on my face.
-Sometimes I would have it set on A/C at the coldest setting of 60 degrees, and it would be blowing hot air.
-Now when I turn on the heat, it blows heat on the drivers side for a minute or 2, and then it turns cold. ( the passenger side doesn't have this issue)
-And when I don't have any heat on or any air on in general, it blows hot air out by my feet, but not on the passenger side.

- I need help, what is my issue? I know it could be a blend door, but which one? Could it be some sort of computer? Some sensor? A blend door actuator? Which one?

-Thanks guys, I just want to get my HVAC working properly again.

Have you done a re-calibration? With that many different issues it sounds like the main unit. Most of those issues are controlled by different blend doors.

I took it in and I needed a new main unit, they tried to recalibrate it, but it didn't work. Thanks for the advice!!!
