I need to back-flush my heater core because I have this gurgling sound coming from below/behind my dash when the engine is running. It increases when I have it in drive (with foot on brake) or after driving around for a while. So I figure there is a possibly a partial block in the heater core somewhere (??).

Anyways, how do these lines come apart? I figured it would be easier to disconnect the lines near the engine block and not at the firewall. The one looks easy enough, just pull back the hose clamp with some pliers, grab the hose and pull it back. But the other one with the T-fitting...how does that disconnect at the T????

I've attached a picture that shows where the two hoses are and you can see the T-fitting.

Thanks for the help!
