harness problem

ok here is the problem, i have one those pac os-2bose adaptors. the red wire that comes out of the little box is dead, i only have power on the yellow wire. i took the hole thing off and install the oem unit and it worked just fine. should i get a new adaptor?

Theres no accessory wire in the harness. Hook red to accesory at the steering column or the fuse box.

ok ill try that, its wierd cuase it worked fine for like 3 months and all of a sudden stopped working
