So I've finally lined up a HD hood that's already painted white. Now I'm question is, how should I ask for my old one? What's the going rate? Thanks

hardly anything...

look on CL in your area to see a local price or eBay if you're willing to ship. Brand new hood ready for paint are $150-$200 on eBay right now...

Remember the only people who will need your OEM hood are people who wrecked their Tahoe and want OEM replacement. Anyone on TYF or any customizing website will be looking for an HD hood if they wreck their Tahoe.

It can be a tough sell. I got lucky, and sold mine right after we got a bad hail storm. And someone wanted/needed a new hood in white. Got $200 outta it. But was on CL for awhile. Just gotta be patient and hope someone needs a white hood for there ride, and will get more outta it already being painted. Good luck with it tho.

I just switched mine bout 6 months ago and had to sit on it for a few months but ended up getting $130.
