Hey everyone, I'm new to the site but I've spent some time reviewing threads. I've got an issue and I don't see a previous post I can refer too.

My issue is with an unstable RPM while at speed. When driving at 40-60 mph in fourth gear I get a fluctuation in the engine RPM of about 100 RPM either way. The truck runs great minus this issue. No stalling, no sputtering, no hard starting. I've replaced the fuel filter, air filter and cleaned the throttle body. The issue happens even if I kick the transmission out of overdrive and into third so I don't believe it's a transmission issue. Before I start throwing parts at the truck I wanted to ask for your input.

The trucks a 2000 Tahoe Z71 with about 200k on it. I've attached a picture.

i think you might actually be going in and out of lock up perhaps. a common cause is a brake light switch failing but scan for codes that don't trigger a light.
