Driver's window switch replacement question

looks like I may need to replace the drivers side window switch. Any advice on how to check the switch itself? The drivers window does not work with the switch, but the other windows do. The window does work when I lock the truck with the Viper alarm and will go down with the remote function so I know the motor works. Connections on the switch have been checked and appear fine. I'd like to verify the switch is bad before replacing because they are EXPENSIVE. Thanks....

The only way to check would be with an ohm meter.

If the passenger side switch is the same, you could try swapping them. Good luck
