Drivers side mirror not heating

Any idea on why my drivers side heated mirror is not heating up? Passenger side works fine but the drivers side is not working at all.

Ideas?

I searched but didn't find anything.

There are tabs behind the mirror just like the rear defrost on back window but smaller... 2 if I remember right, 1 could have snapped or got corroded....push mirror all the way to one side get a flash light and take a ook

Thinking mine might be doing the same thing. Curious as well if anybody knows a fix.

You have to look behind mirror or remove mirror glass from housing to see if wires are still connected to glass

Swath, good point. Mine was doing it when I had the remote start engaged. I’ll check to see if it does it with the defogger on.

LOL....one of my tabs for the rear window defroster snapped off in the spring so I have not been using the read defroster (only the front). Didn't put 2 and 2 together until the other night. It works fine.

Now I'm gonna go smack myself upside the head!
