Driver side window Module

my 2005 Tahoe DDM had to be changed due to the window lock button staying lit. It was cause battery drainage. The new DDM will tow the windows down without the power on and with the door open. What would cause this? We have been chasing this drain for months and just stumbled on this issue.

Is the DDM new; if so, was it programmed to the VIN (meaning it knows your truck options)? If not, is it the same part number and did it come from a vehicle with the same options?

Does the RAP work properly? If you turn the truck off and leave the radio on, does it turn off after 10 minutes? Does it turn off after any door is open? If not, suspect the door latch on the driver's door.
