Drive shaft question

I have a 93 blazer that's got a 6 inch lift on it and I was wondering do I need an extended rear drive shaft. I've heard no and I've heard yes. Any input is helpful as I'm new to this.

If six inches of suspension lift especially on a 2dr 4wd then yes. You pull to must spline mating surface away with angles that steep.

Do you know how much it'd take to get it back right? About 2 inches?
