I need assistance.my main question is do deep dish rims make your rims look smaller vs concaved wheels?and will my new wheels look bigger? or is it just me? i currently have chrome 22s on my denali (as seen in the photo) and first off the spokes dont go to the edge because theres an outter edge about an inch thick and between the spokes look like little rivits sitting on another lip about a half inch thick. the new wheels i want are the same size (22s) and look similar to vossens and they are concaved and black with a tinted face..spokes go right to the edge..no lip of any kind (in photo).will these look bigger!?PLEASE HELP!:banghead:

Concave refers to the angle of the wheel spokes relative to the hub ... you can have three piece concave wheels with a significant lip, so the two are not mutually exclusive.

But you are correct in regards to spokes that are flush with the lip (concave or not) will always make the wheel look bigger than spokes that end at the barrel. It's the length of the spokes themselves which result in this visual affect. Flush spokes basically make use of the full radius of the wheel.

So often a 22" wheel with a lip will look look a 20 because the spokes are shorter.

thank you soulsea! i just wanted to mention they were concaved and maybe that would have possible made a difference, but thats why i ask some pros ha. im just hoping these wheels look bigger because theres days i look at the ones i have now and they seem small and some days they dont. and im hoping these new ones kind of eliminate that issue for me. not to mention they would look alot better! ALSO!..VERY beautiful cadillac! love the wheels!

Lipped wheels and black wheels look a size smaller than they actually are.

i like the chrome but for these wheels i like the black with the dark tinted face and i think it will look alot better. i do have chrome accents like your cadillac but i think that if i get the black ones like in the picture and put chrome lug nuts in them that it will set it off better

For what it is worth I wouldn't put anything other than chrome wheels on an NBS Denali ... but that's just my personal preference. I actually like the wheels you have on now. :)

Ck 375 24"s in chrome. Just saying. 22"s will look good also. Don't judge me I'm partial to 24"s.

im more of a chrome guy myself and love the wheels i have now but ive had them for a while and i would like to switch it up. ive blacked the grill out except the honeycomb part and blacked the red on the gmc logos and front windows are tinted. i feel the wheels would set it off. and when i get these wheels i think im going to get the duplicolor chrome tint kit and lighting tint the chrome out to help the wheels out a bit with the dark tinted face.
