Oh, you’re plugging into the HU. I’ll be using the 12v cigarette lighter socket, or removing it actually, so that’s going to be a 12v + wire. This is why I’m dropping it to 5v. But I was also saying i replaced my cigarette lighter with an accessory usb plug next to it, and those are both 5v but different ampsOh, you’re plugging into the HU. Yeah, my usb / audio jack combo just has a usb male end, to plug into an existing female usb. So there’s no voltage drop/ adapter in it. I’ll be cutting that end off, since I still have the factory HU, and using the 12v lighter wiring to power it.
