CB Antenna

I installed a CB in my Tahoe and looking at different locations to install my antenna. Where do y’all have yours mounted? Pics if available.

Knowing cb radio issues, I can tell you that the problem is usually one of 2- grounding and ground plane.
Everything depends on what kind of antenna mount you are planning on using. If looking at a truck antenna mount, you must mount it to something solid and grounded and will end up with a terrible ground plane.
Unless you are ready to cut holes and drill into things, I would be looking at a Trimag mount.

Don't have a good pic of my mount, but I drilled a hole in the roof (over the cargo area). This location gives a great ground plane, with just a bit of forward bias.
