I was thinking that I would plug the bolt holes with nylon plugs from the hardware store. A little prep and some really good sealant on the plugs and just paint 'em.
If anybody is looking that close at my roof, even though it's lowered, I probably deserve their comments. I'm not gonna weld up the holes and do the bodywork, sanding, priming, etc. The plugs I'm referring to have a very minor crown and will blend right in.

Besides...............at 50 ft and 50 mph, who's gonna see 'em?
