Brake Lights out no Cruse Controll

2000 Chevy Tahoe, Brake lights and cruse inop. Verified both stop fuses under hood and one i/p fuse box. Replaced the brake switch and still inop. I understand this is an old problem, and i have tried the fixes i found in the last post like this one, but none worked. Any help will be great...

My dad's 99 silverado actually had a fried wire in the harness. You may check your wires under all that black tape.

Are you using leds?
