I recently replace my stock alt for a 250 amp alt and worked really good, then came the big 3 and started to have voltage problems. When I start the truck, voltage stays at 14.5v, but when I start bumping the voltage starts droping to around 12v and it won't go back up until I restart the truck, any sugestions?

Are you just reading off the gauge or are you testing off the batt or alt? I don't think you're issue has anything to do with the big 3 unless you've got a loose connection on the alt. Kinda sounds like a stepper motor going wonky.

I'm using a multimeter off the batteries and I also have a stinger meter hooked to the alt. I also notice there is a "clamp" on the stock negative wires, could the 2 extra negative wires affect the charging system?
