Anyone have any issues with the Belltech 23301 rear lowering spring? Currently have the 1" spacer with the Belltech 23301 installed on my 15 Tahoe (non air ride) to level it out. Sits great but once installed I noticed my spring rubbing on the frame and had a slight noise which didn’t bother me and I was told I could slide a 5/8 heater hose around the coil so if desired. Now the more I drive my Tahoe the more noises I hear which more than just rubbing. Sound more like a clunk as the spring is moving around especially if I hit a little bump going around a turn or even speedbumps. Any help would be much appreciated.

this is why i dont use the 23301 coils and only 5305s. 05s are 1/4 inch narrower. its the way the dead coils hit the live coils on the 23301 spring set up on design that i have seen also

heres how to fix it
1. with truck weight on spring mark area where coils go live to dead
2. lift up truck
3. get heater hose and wrap both the live and dead coils 1 full loop on the transition
4. set truck back down and you will be fine.

My 5305's do it on the drivers side of my 02 Tahoe. Another reason mine will be coming out when I go back to work.

Tony, you are the one who sold me these about 2 months ago. I thought I was going to get the 5305s but this is what you sent. Anyway we can work something out so I don't have to rig this up?

I got confused. 23323 is the one I was talking about. Are you sure the upper spring is sitting in pocket
