Aux audio input for BOSE factory stereo with RDS

Hello,

I haven't been able to find info on adding an aux input to BOSE headunit with RDS CD player. There is no XM and no aux CD player (have found lots of info on how to add aux to these).

I want to keep the factory radio, I've bought a stand alone CarPlay unit and the FM transmitter is not great.

I have a cassette adapter that gives me an AUX input cable that I got on Amazon. If you search for cassette AUX adapter on Amazon there are a bunch of options available.

Ya cassette adapters have been around a looooong time, like since forever lol
