2009 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71. 115,000 miles . Getting ready to change the oil on my T-case. It has the 4wd auto. Some say it takes the Auto Trak II. Others say Dexeron Vi including the dealer. What say you?

Thanks,
Dan

my 09 uses dex, I read it was the blue goo at first.
So I tried it since I had a few quarts on hand...

the blue goo (autotrac) made my 4x4 fail to engage and disengage after a few cycles...
I put in dex and it it fixed the problem...

Consult your owners manual, and if it's not in there check with the dealer.
Don't go off of what the interwebs say.
