I recently had a car electronics store put in a Viper 5901 in my 2004 Tahoe. I noticed that when I lock the doors now the battery light stays on in the gauge cluster. I don't know if it has always done this or just started. Anyone know?

I have the same alarm and same year Tahoe. I would say they may have messed with a wire somewhere.

First, confirm that this ONLY happens when you arm the alarm, not every single time you just exit the truck and lock your doors. If it does only happen when using the Viper alarm, then call the shop who installed it and explain your situation.

If this problem only started to happen since the alarm install, I'd be driving back over there and having them fix it!!
