Hey, folks. I have been searching but I cannot find a thread with my exact scenario. I have a 2015 Yukon Denali. It has only push to start. I received the "battery low key fob" message on the DIC, so I changed it. The vehicle would not unlock (I changed the battery at Home Depot while the Yukon was in the parking lot). I used the key to open it, but the alarm went off.
I called Onstar. After putting the key in the fob pocket in the center console, the car started but would still not lock/unlock with the remote. In fact, if I try to lock it using the door button, it will unlock about 1 second after I lock it.
I do not have a second fob that I can find. We are the original owners of this Yukon, but we have misplaced the second fob.
How can I fix this knowing that my only fob only works half-way?
Thanks for any response. I am going back to the search now.
